QA Engineer · Manual + Automation
Muhammed
Yıldız.
I test by hand and with code.
I've tested software since 2021, mostly e-commerce and CRM products. The way I work hasn't really changed: I test by hand to find what matters, then automate it so it stays found. These days I build my own apps too.
Open to freelance and consulting work. Remote.

I started testing in 2021 and never bought the idea that manual and automation are rivals. The good testers I know use both. Manual testing catches the strange, human bugs; automation keeps the boring checks honest. I like to move fast without breaking things, and I build my own products, the whole thing myself.
I also run Prime Picks, a small studio for the apps I make.

Senior QA Engineer Consultant
BoxCommerce · Remote
2024 · PresentI built the Playwright/TypeScript test framework and ran QA for the e-commerce and CRM side: payments, pricing, logistics, OAuth, calendar sync. Exploratory testing alongside automation, both wired into GitHub Actions. Wrote 2,000+ automated scenarios, cut manual verification by about 60%, and dropped production defects by a quarter.
Software Test Engineer
ETIYA · Hybrid
2023Ran manual testing for telecom CRM and moved the team to a hybrid way of working. Built a Selenium/TestNG regression suite that cut manual cycles by 40%, and set up the Jenkins pipelines.
QA Engineer, Manual & Automation
SESTEK · Hybrid
2021 · 2023Poked at AI chat flows by hand first, then built a BDD framework on top with Selenium and Cucumber. Plenty of Postman API testing and SQL checks. This is where manual and automation first clicked for me.

Sharing what I learn.
TestIstanbul 2025
I spoke at TestIstanbul 2025. The talk, "Enhancing QA Work," was about getting more out of QA by mixing human judgment with automation.
